We offer a Sunday morning Adult Forum at 8:00am in the Summer (June - August), and 9:00am the rest of the year. We meet in the Parish Hall.
The dictionary defines “forum” as “A program involving discussions of an issue, usually by several authorities.” And we have many “authorities” in our parish who have much to offer in ways of faith formation – people who have experience in various practices of prayer, studying the Bible, and other important subjects which can further the ongoing spiritual growth and faith formation of us all. Participants and teachers may be members of Christ Church or not.

The Faith-Seeking Journey is our parish’s “Foundations Course”, an invaluable experience of growing in faith and understanding of the foundations of the Christian tradition and practice, especially as expressed through The Episcopal Church. If you have not participated in the Faith-Seeking Journey, you are encouraged to do so! We did not offer it in 2018-19, but hope to do so again in 2019-20. You will find it an experience which deepens your faith and knowledge, encourages practicing your faith, allows for doubting and questioning, and forms closer relationships with other faith-seekers through group interaction and sharing. Fr. Mark is the primary leader of the Faith-Seeking Journey, which meets at 9:00am, beginning the end of September.
But the Faith-Seeking Journey is only a beginning (albeit a rich and meaningful one!). Perhaps you have already participated in the Faith-Seeking Journey, and want an opportunity for further spiritual growth and faith formation. Or perhaps, for whatever reason, the Faith-Seeking Journey is something you are not ready for, or interested in. The Adult Forum may be just what you are looking for!
Plan on participating in the Faith-Seeking Journey or the Adult Forum – and bring a friend!
